Volunteer at Éigse
Join the Éigse CIM Planning Committee!
Our annual fundraiser takes a dedicated group of volunteers to run smoothly, and we're looking for a few dedicated individuals to join the Éigse CIM planning committee!
If you're interested, please join us for our first meeting of the year (November 3rd from 1:30-3:00pm at the Center for Irish Music). It's a great opportunity to see if the planning committee is a good fit for you!
The planning committee meets monthly through March, with a few extra meetings in January & February. We are especially looking for committee members who are available during weekdays (between 9am and 3pm) and occasional weekends. And of course, we want you to join us at the event itself on February 22, 2020!
What We Need
The only requirement is your commitment to making this event the best it can be! Please let us know if you have experience with event planning, fundraising, food/drink prep and service, and silent auctions -- these are always a plus!
There are also a few key leadership areas that could use some exra support this year:
- Food preparation and service - helping to manage our makeshift kitchen, ensuring food safety, and prepping family-style meals for our guests.
- Silent auction - helping to solicit donations from local, national and international businesses, helping to collect and catalog donations, and helping to set up and manage the silent auction rooms the weekend of Éigse.
- Volunteer hospitality - providing food, drink, and a space to relax for our volunteers over the course of the weekend.

The Éigse CIM Volunteer Team needs you!
Éigse CIM, a Gaela Event, couldn't happen without the energy of our wonderful volunteers! There are many roles to choose from, including decorators, dinner servers, set up and break down crews, and more. We'll thank you for your support with a meal, fantastic music and excellent company!
