Irish Trad Immersion Camp (9-12 years)

A fun and intensive one-day program with Irish music friends.

Come spend a day with like-minded young musicians, who share a passion for Irish traditional music. If you already play some Irish music and are itching to expand your skills and make new musical friends, we invite you to spend the day with acclaimed CIM instructors for Irish Trad Immersion Camp, a condensed, introductory version of the Teen program for intermediate-level instrumentalists including a session, new tunes and some arranging with mixed instruments. Open to whistle, fiddle, flute, mandolin, banjo, guitar, harp and bodhrán players who know at least five tunes.  Please contact Norah at nrendell@centerforirishmusic.org if your instrument is not included in the list.

Irish Trad Immersion Camp registrants are encouraged to stay for the Friday night Great Session Experience from 7-9pm. The Great Session Experience is an optional part of the program. Children will be supervised at the teen session (children welcome). We encourage families to come and join in the fun at the Great Session Experience.  There will be a cash bar and refreshments available to the public, so invite all of your friends to hear the music!
