Come enjoy a fantastic evening of music with uilleann pipe and flute player Nicolas Brown. This acoustic concert will be presented in the Scanlan Music Hall.
Based in St. Louis, Nicolas is an internationally recognized musician and has performed, taught workshops, given lectures, and played at venues and festivals throughout Canada, the United States, and Ireland. In 2020, Nicolas recorded and released his first solo album on an antique set of Uilleann pipes, Good Enough Music For Them Who Love It. In 2016, he released a flat pitched duet album with fiddler Alison Perkins, All Covered With Moss. The concert will feature flat pitched, uncommon, old, and interesting music played on uilleann pipes and flute. Danny Diamond will join Nicolas on some of the tunes.
